MHD October Event: The Resilient Therapist – Simple Daily Practices for a Lifetime in PT

Course Description:

Burnout is becoming a quiet epidemic in the physical therapy profession — and it doesn’t have to be. PTs juggle heavy caseloads, emotional labor, productivity pressures, and the constant drive to deliver exceptional care. Without intentional strategies, those demands can slowly drain your passion, your energy, and your sense of purpose.

In this dynamic webinar, you’ll dig beneath the surface to uncover the true drivers of burnout in clinical practice across all practice settings and learn how to spot your personal warning signs before they escalate. You’ll also build a toolkit of practical, repeatable, daily resilience habits that strengthen your wellbeing — so you can thrive in your work, not just survive it.

Speaker:

Christine Robenalt, PT, MPT is a physical therapist who has spent 25 years helping patients rebuild strength, confidence, and possibility — and along the way, she’s learned how to do the same for herself. As a mom of three and a clinician who has practiced everywhere from outpatient orthopedics to pediatric home health, Christine has lived the demanding and deeply human reality of the PT profession.

Her journey hasn’t been without strain. She’s faced seasons of overload, selfdoubt, and exhaustion — the same challenges so many PTs quietly carry. But through those experiences, Christine discovered a set of intentional, lifegiving habits that helped her protect her purpose, reconnect with joy, and build resilience that lasts.
