The results are in.   The following candidates received the majority of votes in this year’s elections.  Thanks to all who participated.

• PT Director: Alice Barnes

• PTA Director: None (To be appointed)

• Young Professionals Director: Brian Tanigawa

• Nominating Committee: Cameron MacDonald

Most importantly, thanks to all the candidates who consented to run for office.  As Teddy Roosevelt said in his famous “Citizenship in the Republic speech”, “All the credit goes to the man in the arena.”  Willingess to serve is critical to our ability to continue to move forward as an association for the benefit of our profession and our patients.

In addition, there were a number of bylaws revisions to complement those brought in May, to complete our 2024-25 bylaws review.  Many of these changes were intended to bring APTA CO into agreement with the APTA model bylaws.

All sixteen of the bylaws motions passed with at least 81% of the vote and will now be submitted to APTA.
