SUMMARY:2026 APTA CO Student Conference
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday, July 18, 2026, PT and PTA students from across Colorado will join together for a full day of education, networking, and inspiration at The Performance Shift in Centennial.  A light lunch will be provided, and each attendee will receive a goodie bag.  An incredible value for only $5 registration cost.\nThe day will open just after noon with our keynote speaker, US Paralympic skier Patrick Halgren ( https://www.teamusa.com/profiles/patrick-halgren ).  Patrick won a silver medal in the Milan/Cortina Paralympics in February.   He credits his PT experience with helping to save his life after he lost his leg in a motorcycle accident.  Now, in addition to his silver medal, he is training to qualify for the summer Paralympic Games.  He is quite an inspiration.\nThe rest of the afternoon will include three tracks of courses in a wide variety of topics with excellent speakers from across Colorado.  These include the following:\n\n\n\n\n\nBrian Altman, MD – Chronic Pain\nEmily Gee PT, DPT, AIB-VRC- Music/Dance PT\nMegan Mitchell PT, DPT, MPH – Sport event triage/sideline coverage\n\nSheri O’Brien PT – Canine PT\n\n\nJoni Miller, PT, DPT, CLT-LANA – Oncology\n\n\nAnd others covering topics ranging from PT in AI to TMJ care\n\n\nResidency & Fellowship Panel – with over 7 specialists and fellows from every field\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAfter the event, we will migrate to a local brewery/restaurant for some networking and fellowship.  We hope to see you there!\nRegister Today!
